Giocagoal European championship 1980 series features
The European championship 1980 series, produced in 1980 on the occasion of the European championships in Italy, is made up of 7 packs, 36 x 24 x 5.5 cm in size, without any catalog number, each of which contains the Italian team and one of the 7 other participants in the tournament. Each packaging contains a complete playing rectangle (2 halves of a football field), two sets of 14 figures (11 players, 1 coach, 1 masseur and 1 linesman), 2 goals, 4 corner flags, 2 balls, one of which hemispherical, 2 sliding (to join 2 playing rectangles) and a sheet with assembly instructions and game rules. On the front of each package there are 2 stickers in the shape of a ball with each inside the name of a team (one with the Italian team and the other with one of the other 7 participants in the tournament); it should be noted that very often the colors, both of the playing rectangles and of the figures do not respect the reported content. On the front of the packaging there is the Atlantic logo and the word "Europei", while on the back an image of the content, the Atlanti logo, the word "Europei" and some captions in several languages, including a "wording" in which the importer, Claudie Berthier Services of Lyon, guaranteed its conformity to the most rigorous standards of the French market. The Atlantic logo and the word Giocagoal are shown on the upper and lower edges, while the Atlantic logo and the flags of the 8 participating nations are shown on the right and left lateral edges.
