1100 series features
The 1100 series consists of 15 packs of dimensions 16 x 11.5 x 2.5 cm, containing subjects in HO scale, with catalog numbers from 1101 to 1115. The 1000 series is characterized by three themes distinguished by as many specific symbols and colors; blue for the "Legends of the west", yellow for the "Heroes of the west" and red for the "Indians of the west". Note that the images of the 1000 series packs are the same as those used for the 1000 series, 2050 series, 1060 series and 1200 series.
The 1000 series
was produced, from January to April 1975, in a first graphics format, called
first edition,
including catalog numbers from 1101 to 1106, whose main characteristics
can be summarized as follows: that characterize them and historical notes on the subject contained.
Subsequently,
from June 1975, the 1000 series was produced in a second graphic format,
called the second edition,
also including the catalog numbers from 1007 to 1115, whose main
characteristics can be summarized as follows:
the specific color of the theme to which it belongs. that characterize them and historical notes on the subject contained. The "second edition" was initially produced in a first graphic format which did not show the wording "made in Italy" on the back of the packaging, a wording added only later, effectively forming two different editions called "second edition type A" and " second edition type B".
