1200 series features

The 1200 series consists of 15 packs containing subjects in 1/32 scale, with catalog numbers from 1201 to 1215.

It should be noted that the dimensions of the packs of the first series are 21 x 16 x 3.5 cm while in the second series the thickness has increased from 3.5 to 4 cm for all packs except for the 1207 pack which has a thickness of 6 cm.

The 1200 series is characterized by three themes distinguished by as many specific symbols and colors; blue for the "Legends of the west", yellow for the "Heroes of the west" and red for the "Indians of the west"

Note that the images of the 1200 series packs are the same as those used for the 1000 series 1100 series, 2050 series and 1060 series .

The 1200 series was produced, from January to April 1975, in two graphics, called first edition, and international edition, including catalog numbers from 1201 to 1206, whose main characteristics can be summarized as follows:
- cover with wood-colored background, symbol of the theme contained and the words "History of the west"

   for the first edition, yellow symbol formed by the union of two icons of the first edition (heroes of the west

   + Indians of the west) and the words "Far -West Story "for the international edition.
- back of the package with a more or less complete list of the catalog numbers of the series, the symbols

   that characterize them and historical notes on the subject contained.

Subsequently, from June 1975, the 1200 series was produced in a second graphic format, called the second edition, whose main characteristics can be summarized as follows:
- cover with the symbol of the theme contained and the words "Far-West Story" on the background of

   the specific color of the theme to which it belongs.
- back of the package with a more or less complete list of the catalog numbers of the series, the symbols

   that characterize them and historical notes on the subject contained.

The second edition was also produced in 3 further editions for the foreign market:
one called "second international edition type A" which shows on the back in addition to the wording "made in Italy" the addition of the wording "plastic non toxic", a second with the further addition of the "wording" of conformity to international standards, called "second international edition type B" and a third called "second French edition", whose packaging intended for the French market bears a "wording" on the back in which the importer, Claudie Berthier Services of Lyon, guaranteed compliance with the most rigorous standards from beyond the Alps.
