1450 series features
The 1450 series, also known as "Wargames", is made up of 10 display cases measuring 35 x 26.5 x 4 cm, containing subjects in H0 scale, with catalog numbers from 1451 to 1460. Of the 10 packs, 5 are related to the World War II armies (catalog number 1451-1455) and 5 to the West history (catalog number 1456-1460); the other packages are found within the respective section. Its production begins in May 1977 with the packs of the history of the west and ends in 1979 with the beginning of the production of the 5 packs of the armies of World War II. The packs of the 1450 series have 2 different background colors: red for those relating to the World War II armies, blue for those relating to the West history. The packs in addition to toy soldiers and vehicles also contain a game map, on the back of which there are the assembly instructions of the vehicles contained and the game rules in four languages. It should be noted that in the packs marketed it was not uncommon to also find clusters of toy soldiers that did not correspond to the subjects of the pack. On the front of the packages there is an image of a diorama, the Atlantic logo, the name of the subject (of the battle represented), the scale and the words "the game of battles" in four languages. On the side edges there is the catalog number and the Atlantic logo, while on the back of the packs we find historical notes in four languages and maps of the battle represented and the "wording" in which the importer, Claudie Berthier Services of Lyon, guaranteed compliance with the most rigorous standards of the French market.
