470 series features

The 470 series consists of 7 packs of different sizes, containing subjects in 1/700 scale, with catalog numbers from 471 to 477.

The dimensions of the packages are as follows:
n. 471 and 472 cm 50.5 x 21 x 3, n. 473 cm 26 x 16.5 x 2, n. 474 cm 19.5 x 11 x 1.5, no. 475 cm 16.5 x 11 x 1.5, n 476 and 477 cm 19 x 16 x 2.

Its production begins in September 1975 with the production of the first packs and ends in May 1976 with the start of the production of the last 5 packs.

All packs contain only one model with the exception of the 477; It should be noted that initially some advertisements reported the package 471 containing 2 ships but the marketing of this type of package is not confirmed even in the catalogs.

The Atlantic logo, the 1/700 scale, the image and the name of the subject in four languages ​​are shown on the front of the packages, while on the back we find a more or less complete list of the catalog numbers of the 470 series, notes on the characteristics of the subject (except package 476) and assembly instructions.

On the side edges there is the catalog number, the 1/700 scale and the Atlantic logo, while on the upper and lower edges the name of the subject.

Note that on the back of package 471 only the wording "made in Italy" appears while the other packages in the series have the added wording "non toxic".
