480 series features

The 480 series, produced since 1977, consists of 4 showcase packs, measuring 21 x 17 (34) x 3 cm, containing subjects in 1/100 scale, with catalog numbers from 481 to 484.

Note that the 480 series uses the same cover illustrations as the 450 series (The fighters).

The Atlantic logo, the 1/100 scale, the name and image of the subject are shown on the front of the packaging, while on the back the assembly instructions and the list of the same series are shown.

It should be noted that the list also shows the numbers from 485 to 488 with the same subjects of the 450 series (The fighters) of the World War II armies, packs that do not appear to have ever been marketed, and numbers from 489 to 492 without details of the contents, as if the series had intended to contain another 4 other aircraft ever produced.

The catalog number is printed on the side edges.

There is evidence of a package no. 482 which has the assembly instructions on the back in the opposite direction; it is not known if it is a single "printing error" or if there are further packages of the other catalog numbers with the same characteristic
