9000 series french edition

Of 26 of the 28 packs of the 11000 series (packs 9003 and 9005 are not included) a "french edition" was also produced, specially made for the French market, marketed in a first edition including packs up to 9015 probably in 1973 and later, probably in 1975, in a second edition including all 26 packs.

Characteristic of these editions are the different illustrations on the front of the packs, except for the 4 relating to the great revolutions, the captions in French and the number of pieces contained which in some cases does not correspond to that reported in Italian marketing.

Note also a difference in the numbering of the French edition packs compared to those marketed in Italy:
the contents of the catalog numbers 9018, 9023, 9024, 9027 and 9028 marketed in Italy, in the French edition are marketed respectively with the catalog numbers 9028, 9024, 9023, 9018 and 9027.
